With its X-TREME range, LAMILUX is pushing the boundaries of technology and is tapping the full performance potential of fibre-reinforced composites. The strength and rigidity values are many times higher than those of normal composites.
This reduces the amount of materials required, saves excess weight and allows useful functions – such as extreme impact resistance or the lowest possible thermal expansion – to be integrated into the product applications.
With a maximum reinforced fibre content of more than 50% and the extremely viscoplastic epoxy matrix resin system, LAMILUX X-TREME is the most effective composite material on the market.
LAMILUX X-treme can be ordered in the following versions
LAMILUX X-treme is available
- In thicknesses between 0.5 mm and 2.5 mm
- In widths up to 3.0 m depending on the product variant
- With woven fabric reinforcement or uni-axial, bi-axial and multi-axial NCF reinforcement
- In sheets or coils
- In a range of colours: RAL, NCS scale and customer-specific colours
- With a gelcoat surface for maximum UV and weather resistance
- The gelcoat surface is also available with an antibacterial effect
- Other thicknesses and dimensions available on request
- With various reverse side treatments (sanded, soft sanded) on request
- With HACCP Gelcoat
